L 2025 Fund. When an l fund reaches its target date, it goes out of existence and any money in it becomes part of the l income fund, which generally keeps the same target allocation. The l 2025 fund will be invested in 50% stocks (c,s,i funds) and 50% bonds (g and f funds).

Index funds allow investors to buy a bundle of stocks that track a single market sector. L funds with sooner target dates have less risk.
